About this book

Sahaja Yoga Meditation: Pathway to Sustainable Development presents a thoughtful integration of ancient yogic wisdom with contemporary global challenges. The book examines Sahaja Yoga Meditation (SYM) as a transformative practice that promotes mental silence, emotional balance, and self-awareness. Grounded in scientific research and supported by empirical evidence, it highlights the psychological, physiological, and neurological benefits of meditation. Moving beyond individual well-being, the work establishes a meaningful connection between inner transformation and sustainable development. By aligning the principles of Sahaja Yoga with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the book demonstrates how values such as freedom, equality, tolerance, respect for nature, and shared responsibility can be cultivated through meditative practices. Through a structured, research-based approach, including methodological insights and analytical discussion, the book provides a comprehensive understanding of how meditation can contribute to personal growth and to social, environmental, and global harmony. It serves as a valuable resource for researchers, academicians, practitioners, and policymakers interested in the intersection of yoga, psychology, and sustainable development.
