About: Dr. Balakrishnan P is currently working as Professor cum Principal at RITEE College of Nursing, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He has obtained Doctorate in Nursing, M. Sc Nursing degree in Child Health Nursing. He has experience of more than 18 years and exposed different technologies in Teaching, Research & administration. He is associated with many professional bodies as a professional membership in TNAI, ISPN, NTAI, and Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association, etc. He is an editorial board member and published abstract in various National and International Journals. He is an author of many books. Research guide and co-guide for PhD and PG Students in Indian Universities. He has organized eye camps, blood donation camps, health awareness program and faculty development program on different occasions for societal help. He has received Dr. A.P.J Abdulkalam Gold Medal Award, Best Educationist Award and Best Nursing Teacher award from The Nursing Teacher Association of India. Chhattisgarh Youth commission appreciated him for conduction of various activities for youth.
